1991 Topps Desert Shield Mark McGwire Error Card Slugging 617 #270 PSA 8

This 1991 Topps Desert Shield Mark McGwire error card is a very rare card! Desert Shield cards were only made for those in the military serving overseas in 1991. This is an error card due to the slugging percentage on the back being incorrect (618 vs 0.618). For this to be a rare error card made on a rare Desert Shield card and still in near mint condition, this is a wonderful baseball error card for any card collector. Arguably Mark McGwire should also be in the Hall Of Fame, adding even more background to this unique card.

In addition to all of the wonderful characteristics of this card, this one is even more special by having a “Bold” 1991 Topps back. Most have a much fainter Topps logo, but a small percentage of them have the Bold look as this one. This is truly a rare card!
